Wardrobe Moving Boxes

Wardrobe moving boxes are designed to protect your clothing. What makes moving so difficult is the fact that it can be such a hassle to adequately protect all of your things. This is especially true for clothing. Some people just throw their clothes into pastic trash bags when they move, but this can soil your clothes and even tear them.  It most certainly will wrinkle them.  Some clothing wadded and placed into a bag may never be wrinkle-free again.  Use wardrobe moving boxes and your clothes will be easy to move.  However, there are three key points you need to remember about wardrobe moving boxes.
 
First, be sure to get wardrobe moving boxes that are study enough to hold the items you will put into them.  That seems like common sense, but you would be surprised at the number of people who try to save a few dollars buying moving boxes that are smaller and weaker than what they need.  Buy cheap wardrobe moving boxes and they may burst open or tear apart if you put heavy items, such as heavy winter coats in them.  If the moving boxes you use are not tough enough to hold all the clothing you put inside, the boxes will break open when they are handled rough by the movers.
 
Second, wardrobe moving boxes should not be too big or too small. They should not be too big because then your things inside of them will move around and get crushed against each other which will cause wrinkles.  And if the boxes are too small, you will end up trying to squeeze your clothes into the boxes which will also cause wrinkles. If the wardrobe moving boxes that you have are too big, fill them until the clothes inside don't move.  If your moving boxes are too small for your large clothing items, you'll have to get bigger boxes.  

Third, buy new wardrobe moving boxes from a reliable source.  Whether you buy them from a moving company or you buy them online, make sure that the company selling them is reputable.  Also, besure to buy wardobe moving boxes in a variety of sizes.  As noted above, you don't want to buy a moving box that is either too large or too small for your needs.  The same holds true for box strength.  Although it's OK to buy moving boxes far stronger than you need, it will also cost you more, so why pay more than you have to?  If the items you are going to put inside a box weigh a total of 25 pounds, why pay extra for wardrobe moving boxes that are made to hold 100 pounds? 

It's OK to pack everyday clothes into used moving boxes, but don't use second-hand boxes to move any clothing you value, such as business suits.  Many second-hand boxesare stained from moisture.  That moisture, along with its odor, can easily be transmitted to your clothes.  Many used moving boxes are also infested with bug eggs. Bug eggs can easily make their way onto your clothes and you will never even know it.
 
Never underestimate the importance of having new wardrobe moving boxes that are big enough to hold the items going in them.  Knowing your clothing is protected and will arrive relatively wrinkle free gives you one less thing to worry about as you move. But, on the other hand, if you use second-hand boxes or you buy wardrobe moving boxes that are too small for your needs, you are asking for a lot of headaches. 

Tips on Wardrobe Moving Boxes

Tip 1: Don't move clothing by simply pulling out the drawers of chests and dressers and stacking the drawers on the moving truck.  This might seem like it would save you time because you can simply slip the drawers already filled with your clothes back in and you're done.  The reality is that moving clothes in open drawers is just asking for trouble from the weather and less-than-careful movers.

Tip 2: It is a good idea not to move all your clothes in wardrobe moving boxes.  Grab a suitcase for each member of your family and into their suitcase put toiletries and the clothes each family member will need for the next three days.  This will save a lot of rushing about after you move trying to find clothes to wear for everyone to wear.
